Canon K35
Awarded a Technical Oscar in 1977, Canon’s K35 primes have been shooting studio features for more than four decades. Originally designed to compete with Zeiss’ S35-format Super Speeds, they’ve exploded in popularity these last few years because of their ability to cover full-frame sensors. That feat is owed to their basis in Canon’s legendary FD still-photo lenses — an important detail when looking for additional focal lengths to fill out the core five-lens set.
The first generation lenses with the 55mm feature warm tones while the later generation with the 50mm length are cooler in their rendering. All of them feature exceptional flares.
